The Department of Government Enablement in Abu Dhabi (DGE) is leading a significant initiative to integrate artificial intelligence into governmental services. This effort is part of the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025-2027, which aims to make Abu Dhabi the world's first fully AI-native government by 2027. The strategy is backed by an investment of AED13 billion, focusing on innovation and the advancement of digital services. Additionally, the strategy includes plans to establish 100% cloud computing capacity to create a flexible and scalable foundation for government operations.
